Xbox LIVE has been leading the way in interactive gaming for quite some time now, so it seems natural to add your favourite TV game shows to the experience and put you at the centre.

The 1 vs 100 quiz show, usually seen on BBC’s National Lottery show, will now have regularly scheduled online editions in which "The One" has to beat off all 100 members of  "The Crowd" for a chance to win prizes like cameras and MP3 players. Gamers can be selected as either The One or a member of The Crowd will the winners battling for the Ultimate 1 vs 100 Championship.

So, for those dreaming of the adulation and celebrity that comes from TV quiz show success, no longer will you need be randomly selected from a group of studio audience-attending housewives, all your need is your favourite easy chair and an Xbox controller.

Hopefully, this initial forray will  herald the arrival of our favourite quiz shows coming via the online gaming portal. We’d love a crack at Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, and we’ve always wanted to take home Bully’s Special Prize (always a speed boat, obviously) on the darts-themed classic, Bullseye. You can’t beat a bit of Bully.

1 vs 100 is free for Xbox LIVE Gold members and will kick off on Xbox LIVE on Friday 10th January.
