It's been a while since we last got an update from ZodTTD on his iControlPad iPhone controller accessory, but this latest prototype looks like it was worth the wait. The controls have been moved from the sides of the phone to a more comfortable-seeming bottom placement with dual analog sticks and rear-mounted triggers, and the whole thing's gotten bigger and badder -- there's even an internal battery for charging your phone as you play. Verizon takes another swing at AT&T, puts iPhone on the Island of Misfit Toys
AT&T might be suing Verizon for misrepresenting its network in ads, but that doesn't seem to have dissuaded Beg Red from using that same map image in this new spot, which casts the iPhone away to the Island of Misfit Toys. Hard to argue with the premise, but here's the real question: why not just sack up use a real iPhone, instead of this KIRF piece? Check the ad after the break.

Yamaha intros more affordable Tenori-On ‘Orange’
It's been well over a year since we published our take on Yamaha's perplexing, beautiful and all-around intriguing Tenori-On concept, and evidently the masses have spoken out. This week, the company announced that it will soon be shipping a "more affordable" version with the name Tenori-On 'Orange,' with some vendors already leaking a £649 ($1,077) MSRP. Sony launches WiFi BDP-S760 and S560 Blu-ray players
Sony has launched two new Blu-ray players featuring the most impressive set of specs we've seen from the company's high definition offering to date.
The top-of-the-range BDP-S760 (£340), and the mid-range S560 (£240) both boast WiFi connectivity allowing easier access to the developing, online-based BD-Live features on many high definition releases.

Bowers & Wilkins Zeppelin mini iPod dock lands for a hands-on
We've seen plenty of carefully staged press shots of Bowers & Wilkins' new Zeppelin mini iPod dock, but we're guessing that anyone about to shell out $400 for one of these is going to want a considerably closer, more unvarnished look at it. Apple plans iPhone 3GS price cut to tackle Motorola Droid
Apple may be planning a pre-Christmas iPhone 3GS price cut, to just 99 dollars in the US, in a bid to stay ahead of the Motorola Droid Android handset which has captured the imagination at an important time in smartphone land.
According to reports, AT&T, which holds the exclusive rights to sell the iPhone in the States, is weighing up the option, in order to stave off an unexpected bout of Motorola fever.
